The work, and the people
The Work
Our Search Angels investigate DNA matches, build family trees backward from clues, dig through obituaries and public records, and present findings to clients in detailed reports. The work is solitary much of the time, then deeply collaborative when a case breaks open.
The Time
We're flexible. Tell us what you can offer and we'll work with that. Whether you have a few hours a week or significantly more, we'll match the workload to what's realistic for your life.
The People
Most of our angels are adoptees, donor-conceived individuals, or people who've been touched by adoption. Many came through their own search and decided they wanted to help others. Genealogy experience helps, but compassion matters more.
